---------------------------- Summary ----------------------------- Arcane Caitvi modern AU: the city is Piltover, Zaun is the poorer part across the Pilt River. Caitlyn works in a bookstore, in the antique book section of which she is very knowledgeable and an avid reader. Vi lives in Piltover, in the cheaper area bordering the Pilt River: she has struggled to get her little sister Powder out of Zaun and give her the future she deserves at the Academy. She opened a gym and shares it with Kai'sa, a woman who traveled the world and ended up settling in Piltover: they worked out a deal because of Piltover's high costs, and with what Vi pays to keep Powder at the Academy, it was a godsend! Vi teaches street fighting and holds a self-defense class for women, while Kai'sa teaches dance. Caitlyn and Vi are trying to put their troubled pasts behind them and end up meeting and clashing on a rainy night that will start it all. --------------------------- Notes

Summary This is Arcane season 2: focused on Vi and Caitlyn, their love story and their efforts to build a better future for Zaun and Piltover. But this is also the story of Jinx and Vi and how it will end. Seven months have passed since the finale of "Arcane - Two Cities." Vi and Caitlyn's war against Silco's allied chembarons is long over, and Piltover and Zaun are adjusting to the new normal. The councils of the two towns have met often, with Caitlyn and Vi mediating between the parties. Chapter four: The longest night. It's almost midnight in Piltover and Zaun. The Southside it's home of the fissures, is that part of the city beyond the river Pilt where Piltover's Mid Town mixes with the fissures area: few white buldings with blue roofs blends with a vast array of others of every kind, size and color. Then there's the fissures, the main two, the biggest. Connected by underground tunnels and man made holes with numerous bridges, catwalks and who knows how many secrets ways. Promenade level is the upmost part of the fissures, home to the wealthiest undergrounders, where chembarons dwells raising themselves above all the rest of fissure's folk. Below the Promenade lies the Entresol level, situated halfway down of the fissures, full of shops, markets and entertainments of every kind, usually the most frequented part of the Undercity. Then below, on the fissures ground there are the Lanes, that offers everything for everyone: home of the largest Black Market of the world

Chapter one: Daughters of two cities. The light of the red moon soaked Piltover like blood. When they arrived everyone was safe, down on the square below the council building. Vi and Caitlyn saw everything from the destroyed factory, desperate as Jinx's rocket flew straight for the council tower; Caitlyn thinking she was about to lose her mother, Vi dying inside because of that, thinking her little sister was lost forever. They were astonished and relieved when nothing exploded! The missile broke in pieces springing canisters of spray paint all over the council tower, while dozens of loud fireworks illuminated the red sky, blue and pink, cyan and magenta as the hairs of the sisters. So Vi wore the gauntlets to carry Cait, still stunned after Powder hit her. Gave a last look behind, to the remnants of her past, Silco's corpse and the abandoned factory where she lost everything for the second time in her life, a stinging pain in her heart. Interlude: She Jinxes every... Undercity ravines. The coldness of the night struggles to leave in the early morning light. It's too soon and chilling for fissures kids to come here to play. There's just a lonely caped figure walking into the caves, where strange purple flowers are scattered all over the place glowing faintly in the darkness. Stillwater hold. It's two hours past noon and during the day inmates are permitted to wander in and out of their cells which are left open until night. They can use the internal elevator system because leads only to cells corridors, refectory, shower rooms and courtyard. Guards uses a different elevator system that's not connected to the one prisoners are allowed to use and is activated only by the use of guards keys. But usually inmates prefers to remain in the ample courtyard where they can roam free and at least see the sky trough the massive metallic grate. So the cells during the day are used for... entertainment purposes. Obviously there are always guards around everywhere, but that's all the privacy one can get in Stillwater prison. Hello, my friend. Yes i'm safe, i live in Lombardia region but far from the red zones.

Sometimes i'm scared to death, not for me, but form my father: we live in the same house and he is 76 year old. Of course he don't have any illness (sometimes i think he's younger than me) but i'm nonetheless scared sometimes, i shouldn't be, but there's nothing i can do about it.

Our government acted greatly so far, and all of us behaved (apart some usual idiots). At least one of my oldest friends live in front of me, so we can chat, keepeng the distance of course^^

We can only wait, behave and it will pass.

On the bright side, with all the free time i have now i'm cleaning the house, getting rid of old clutter around the house, inside armoires, maybe posting some stuff here.

When we get out of this i'm fucking ordering pizza every evening for an entire week, buying pastries for a pair of weeks, and i will return to my home only for night sleep!!

That's good to hear.
I've heard that some places are worse than others- it's so up here too.
I live out in a small village, so hopefully we go free. But still only go out when I'm in need of something- like bread or food to Pjevs, else I do nothing much- hurrae for the pc, internet and television
I know that feeling... Actualy take away are allowed up here yet. But no one bring out in my little village

Food oreding and deliveries keep going, even many shops that had to close organized theyr own delivery services, even some confectionery. But i don't wanna risk for now, i know they will take every preacution, but for now i want to avoind any unnecessary risk. I live in a small town too, 16.000 inhabitants, and all of our 7 supermarkets are open and well supplied, observing every government decrees. We have also a commercial center with a ipermarket inside were usually i go food shopping, so we prefer go there to buy food. Every other shop in the commercial center is closed, so there is only few people who goes there only for food shopping.

We also live in a.. we call it village, but it is a condominium, not a single building but a conglomerate of 63 terraced houses, with our streets, near the woods on town's brink, so is not a trafficated place, and we can chat in the backyard or the front street from house to house: that make us less lonely thankfully
